Oli warns of retaliation if UML’s Madhes-centric awareness campaign hindered

March19, 2017- CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that his party is preparing to convene ‘Mechi-Mahakali Madhes-centric campaign’ starting March 4 and called on everyone to participate in the campain. He also warned of retaliation against those trying to obstruct the programmes.
Speaking at a party programme organised in Balkhu on Tuesday, Chairman Oli said,“This campaign of UML is not against the Madhes-based parties.  In fact it is for the overall unity of the nation.” Urging everyone not to hamper UML’s programme, Oli said, “UML will strongly retaliate, if someone tries to hinder this campaign.”

He has called on all the UML cadres at municipal, ward and VDC levels to participate in the party’s predetermined programmes.
“Our programme is to clear various political delusions prevalent in the Madhes,” said Oli, “We expect all-sides to participate and support in this endeavor.”
