As many as 20 mountaineering expedition teams have arrived at the Everest Base Camp (EBC) to climb Mt Everest, Mt Lhotse and Mt Nhutse.
Among the expedition teams, 16 will scale the highest peak Mt Everest, two Mt Lhotse and two Mt Nhutse, it has been learnt.
According to Everest Pollution Control Committee (SPCC) Programme Official Kapindra Rai, they had arrived at the EBC on Sunday.
The EBC serves as the base camp for all three mountains.
All expedition teams will be taking the same route from the EBC up towards Camp 3 on Everest from where the route to Lhotse and Nhutse separates.
The relatively silent EBC is currently buzzing with around 400 people including Sherpa guides, mountaineers and high altitude workers, Rai shared. RSS
