Addressing a mass meeting at Birendranagar on Saturday, the UML chief said: “We should stand for the welfare of the country and people. We should not fear whether a neighbour gets angry upon doing so.”
Terming the Madhesi leaders as compradors, Oli blamed the government for giving more importance to protests of the compradors while ignoring the aspirations of thousands of Nepali people.
“The government was reluctant to hold elections upon seeing the wave of people in favour of the UML,” Oli said.
