Likewise, APF Head Constable duo Ram Bihari Chaudhary and Lalit Saud were also killed.
Saud’s son, Tek Bahadur, also lost his life in the clash.
Chief District Officer Raj Kumar Shrestha said as many as 42 police personnel were injured in the attack.
Five of them are said to be in a critical condition and are being airlifted to Kathmandu.
Meanwhile, the District Administration Office clamped a curfew in the area since 7 pm on Monday.
